TOO HIGH

Daniel waved his hand. “Nah. I’ve smoked too much.”

“Yeah, no shit,” Lucas said, and took a hit.

Joe Rogan conversed with Post Malone on the TV.

“I’m your past self,” Lucas went on. “You’re alone on the couch. And you’re so high you think I’m real.”

Daniel blinked. “Whoooaaa!”

HARPO

“He fucking dies today,” Kevin told his girlfriend. “Asshole, piece of shit. Deserves the worst death. I’m not going to punk out like everyone else. Not this time.”

Kevin sat down and watched an Oprah interview for a few minutes.

“You know,” Kevin said, his eyes wet. “I’ll just apologize.”

THE MEDITATING MAN

The student sat on the cafeteria table, meditating.

“I’m going to shove him off,” an angry boy told his friends. He stormed over. Then a rush of peace overcame him.

“Well,” he said, confused. “I lost this one.”

Then he climbed onto the table and joined the boy in meditation.
