LACKLUSTER MEAL

My father and mother struck down by this monster, my whole life torn to shreds then taped painstakingly back together. But that meant nothing, until I grabbed the ice-chilled handle of the dagger, and shoved it into the polar bear to finish it off.

The bear meat tasted mediocre.

PORTAL

There was no going back. After a delicious dinner with my wife and kids I stood up, stretched, then headed out the door.

I’d spent years building my time-machine, and if I ever wanted out of this family I had to jump into the portal now. Time to be selfish.

LEGENDS IN THE MAKING

A mocha-skinned, brown-eyed, black-haired, angelic African beauty stole my heart. This was before she gave me sex, took my wallet, then stole my dog.

My name’s Jacob. Hers is Sheila. And when I got even she screamed, it hit the papers, and we both became living legends.
